Distinguished Guests, Esteemed Community Members, Teachers, Parents, and Dear Students,
It gives me great honor and pleasure to welcome you to the inauguration of our school’s new building. This occasion marks an important milestone in the proud history of Fasilides Secondary School, an institution that has served the historic city of Gondar and the nation since 1934 E.C.
For 84 years, our school has stood as a center of learning, wisdom, and national pride, educating over 285,000 students who now serve their country and the world in various fields. Today’s inauguration of the new expansion building, with modern classrooms and service facilities, symbolizes our continued commitment to quality education and future generations.
As we celebrate this achievement, we also reaffirm our shared responsibility to strengthen and support this historic institution. Through unity and collaboration, we will enable our school to fulfill its mission of nurturing knowledgeable, capable, and visionary citizens.
